Easy 2-Minute Broccoli Slaw

April 17, 2016 by predominantlypaleo 9 Comments

Oh Spring has sprung at last! Our “mild” Winter held on tight and stretched out freezing nights for as long as possible. Pair those with lots of rain and grey skies and it’s any wonder I was able to leave bed. Wow, that’s depressing sounding but I’m here to say that the fiery ball in…

First Do No Harm….To Thyself.

March 21, 2016 by predominantlypaleo 11 Comments

Have you noticed that everywhere you turn these days there is a “motivational” or “inspirational” meme about how you have to seize the moment, push hard, strive bigger, drive yourself with MORE passion, more work, more effort, less fear? Well I noticed. And I nodded my head in agreement. YES!!! I thought. I am creating my…

About

Jennifer is a wife and mother of 3 in pursuit of better health for her family.
After being gluten free for 4 years, and having a multitude of chronic health issues, she realized there was still too much processed “food” in her pantry and change was needed. Jennifer began feeding her family more meals from WHOLE foods and less from boxes. Her recipes are predominantly paleo, meaning they are free of grain, gluten, dairy, and refined sugar, but make allowances for a few treats and sweets. She believes food can be medicine when used appropriately and that a few changes now can equate to huge benefits later. Healthy food does not need to be flavorless and void of personality, which she aims to accomplish through her many recipes.
