If 2015 has one popular paleo small appliance, it’d have to be the Instant Pot!
People are embracing whole foods but they want dinner fast – and we all know that the Instant Pot is basically like that machine on the Jetson’s where you type in what you want and it spits it out for you in record time. Yes, the Jetson’s. Did I just date myself? Anyway, modern cavepeople far and wide are loving this little apparatus and get very excited when they come across Paleo Instant Pot recipes!
Except oddly enough, they are kind of hard to find! Because I love y’all more than the air I breathe (slight exaggeration), I’ve compiled a big bunch of delicious Instant Pot Paleo recipes that are sure to make you milk every cent out of your IP. <- That by the way is short for Instant Pot, because if you want people to think you are a legit pressure cooking fool, you’ll want to learn the lingo. So here are over 20 IP recipes and what’s better you ask?! HALF of them are AIP friendly.
If I didn’t just become your new best friend, then your standards are even higher than I thought. So enjoy your IP all seasons of the year, if you have been hesitating and confused where to start, get your groove on right here. It’s an IP party and you’re invited!!!

This sounds pretty awesome. Are these easy to use? I have never used a pressure cooker (*gasp*) and am kinda intimidated to be honest. I’m considering investing in 1 of these and just want to make it will be a good investment. But it seems like everyone likes it and the recipes sound great!
So easy!!!Like you, I was intimidated but once I started using it I realized how easy, awesome, and versatile!
Great list and your timing is perfect! I got a deal on my Instant Pot on Amazon Prime Day earlier this week and made the Beef Bourguignon (AIP without the wine or pepper) last night…yum! It was my first time ever using a pressure cooker and I’m hooked…off to make bone broth now!
Thank you so much! Mine just arrived on Friday…can’t wait to break it in:)))
Thank you for these recipes. Have you tried making your rotisserie chicken recipe in the instant pot?
Not yet, but I am confident it would work beautifully!
Thank you for this article. I was just headed out the door to buy a slow cooker and decided to see what folks were saying about preferred machines and features. You just saved me from having to buy two separate machines and worse trying to find room for them in my itty bitty kitchen! Ordered mine online and can’t wait until it gets here!
You’ll just adore it!!! I’ve heard zero complaints so far!
Can any of these meals be made to be freezer meals?
I think they could all be made ahead and frozen!

I’ve been using my Instant Pot for about a year now thanks to your recommendation and I LOVE IT! I recently did a KonMari/pre-move de-clutter session and like you, my instant pot was one of only a few appliances I loved enough to keep. Thank you for writing about your instant pot in the first place. Without your recommendation I’m not sure I ever would have discovered it.
What size instant pot do you have or would you recommend>? I’m obviously late to the party but I still want to dance 😉 lol
Please dance with us! I have this one: bit.ly/yourinstantpot
I just got my Instant Pot and YOUR book! I can’t wait to get cooking with it! It’s the one of many kitchen appliances that will hopefully finally set me FREE from my kitchen bondage! LOL Your book looks fantastic and can’t wait to try all the recipes but MORE recipes, pleeeeaaase! How about some Mediterranean/paleo? 🙂 xoxo
