BEST INSTANT POT ACCESSORIES Since I wrote Paleo Cooking with Your Instant Pot earlier this year, I get inundated with questions regarding which products are best to purchase alongside your Instant Pot. The wonderful thing now is there are so many products to shop that weren’t even available when I was first writing the book. This makes life that much easier! Just click on the images to shop my favorites below!
First let’s start with the actual Instant Pot. I actually have two varieties, both featured below. The first one I bought which I used in writing my cookbook was the DUO60 6 QT 7-in-1. It’s below $100 and goes on sale a couple times a year. You can find that option HERE!
The other Instant Pot I ended up purchasing is the Instant Pot DUOPLUS 9-in-1 6 quart. It is just slightly more expensive than my original IP and has a couple more features. It no longer has the Poultry setting but did add the Egg, Sterilize, and Cake options. It also changed the wording on some of the buttons like “Pressure Cook” instead of “Manual” but ultimately works the exact same. It too goes on sale a couple times a year.
EGG HOLDER This little apparatus is genius and increases the number of eggs you can hard boil to 14! It comes with two stackable holders and is great when you go through tons of hard boiled eggs in a week like my family does.
STACKABLE STAINLESS CONTAINERS
These are the best for making multiple things at once! You can do rice in one and chicken in another and just stack those puppies up! Could life get much better?
CARRYING CASE Look you can laugh all you want but when I roll up with my chili at holiday parties it’s a real PITA schlepping my IP all over town. So this is my bestie and I don’t care what anybody thinks. We’ll see who laughs last when they taste my killer COWBOY CHILI, know what I’m sayin’!?
EXTRA INSTANT POT BOWL Trust me, this is the best thing you will do aside from buying a second Instant Pot. Every time I use mine which is at least 3 days a week I end up making more than one dish at once – could be a side dish and a main course, two main courses if cooking ahead, you name it. Buying a spare bowl is the best because you don’t have to wash in between cooking!
SILICONE BANDS These little colorful bands are fantastic if you plan on dropping in casserole dishes to make quiche or other “baked” goods and casseroles in your IP. These aid in lowering and raising your dishes in and out of the IP when there are no handles and tight space!
3 CUP PYREX DISH These are the perfect size for quiche/casserole type dishes made in the IP. It’s one of the few sizes that will fit so I recommend buying a few, covering them with heavy duty foil, and stacking them up to 3 high while you cook!
RAMEKINS These are handy for single serving desserts, or even egg dishes that you “bake” in your IP. They are great because you can make ahead and eat throughout the week by keeping them in the fridge. Plus they are so darn cute!
STEAMER BASKET This ginormous steamer basket is perfect when you want to load the ol’ veggies into your IP and can’t hang with the little shallow guys. This fits into the 6 qt no problem so get steamin’!
BREAD PAN If you have Paleo Cooking with Your Instant Pot you know that you can make my Legit Bread right in the IP! I have recommended THIS pan but have also just found the one below which is made by IP and fits perfectly as well! I love options. They’re the best.
I have a few other doo dads I’ve been checking out but I’ll leave you with these for now! These are perfect gifts too so consider them for stocking stuffers and smaller gifts to accompany your IP. And I’d be silly not to mention that if you don’t already have a copy of Paleo Cooking with Your Instant Pot, it’s a good one to have, so good I might have to do it again…
