With so many great products to choose from, it can be overwhelming when you start shopping! Here are my My Top 5 Favorite Beautycounter Products!
I’ve been pretty unabashedly vocal about my love for Beautycounter products over the past 4 years of my consultantship. That said, I definitely have my favorites that I combine with the use of products from other safer skincare brands. I love that 1) Beautycounter is truly fighting for labeling transparency in order to get safer products into the hands of everyone and 2) there are now so many trusted products to choose from that I can build my perfect combination from a few fantastic brands, including Beautycounter.
So here’s what… I often hear from you that you really want to try Beautycounter, but that you aren’t quite sure where to start. With so many skincare lines and cosmetics to choose from, the choices can feel endless. That’s where I come in! I have experimented with or seen first hand what each of these products is capable of. I’ve seen immense changes in my own skin’s texture, health, and appearance. I’ve experimented with the cosmetics, from highlighters to lipgloss.
I pride myself on integrity and honesty, meaning, I won’t recommend something I don’t love. Need an eyeliner for your waterline? I recommend THIS one. Need a safer deodorant that really works without irritation? Go HERE. Want to know my absolute favorite mascara that’s just wet enough without being too gloppy? Grab THIS one. I have found my favorites from all over, which makes variety truly the spice of life.
But honestly, a HUGE chunk of my day to day skincare and cosmetic routine belongs to Beautycounter products. Why you ask? I think they are the highest performing (safer) skincare brand on the market. Meaning, I have TANGIBLE, VISIBLE, MEASURABLE results from using their products. Look, I can use cucumber slices and coconut oil on my skin all day long. But now that I’m in my mid 40s, I want more. Much more. I want to know that I am treating past sun damage and improving my skin’s health moving forward. I also want to know that when I put on my full face of daily makeup, yes daily, that I am not using endocrine disrupters and other toxins in the name of vanity. I may be vain, but not at the expense of my health. Those abusive years are behind me.
I am pleased to report that I am seeing these changes year over year without botox or other scary invasive toxins. You can see from the photo below that my skin is actually making improvements despite the age gap. The lighting is not identical but these are unedited.
Okay, you’ve been patient. Let’s break it down. What are my My Top 5 Favorite Beautycounter Products anyway???
- Overnight Resurfacing Peel – this gentle peel made with 13 botanical fruit acids is highly effective and can be used multiple nights per week. It is Beautycounter’s first “hero” product and has made BIG waves in the community. It’s easy to tolerate, does NOT cause intense peeling/burning/irritation, and in fact, I am able to use it nightly without issue. It has helped me with fine lines, pore size, texture, and sun damage.
2. Lip Gloss – I am obsessed, OBSESSED with this lip gloss. I’ve never been an everyday lipSTICK wearer but gloss, yes. And I cannot stand sticky, gloppy glosses. If it feels like I am wearing rubber cement on my lips, we have issues. So when I found this lip gloss, I ordered every color. I keep multiple ones in each purse, desk drawer, and hiding place in my car. I do not go without this stuff. Seriously. Opal is my favorite and everyone needs it. It’s basically life or death. PS all the photos of my face in this post have Opal gloss on my mouf.
3. Countertime Radiance Serum – This can be alternated with the peel. It has Beautycounter’s incredible “retinatural” complex which has many of the same benefits of retinol without the side effects like photosensitivity. It also has bakuchiol and Swiss Alpine rose – it feels amazing on my skin and has made visible changes alongside the peel. It’s an anti-aging MUST HAVE and I am in love. 4. Blush/Eye Shadows – Ok I know this is technically two different products, but narrowing down to only 5 products was torture so I included them together. But for a good reason! The PIGMENTS! Have you ever bought a cheap brand of makeup only to find out that not only is it toxic but it also looked watered down on your skin? Like the color on the palette looked nothing like the color on your face. Beautycounter has hands down nailed bold beautiful, one-swipe colors without using heavy metals or poorly sourced materials. Make sure to watch THIS video on mica and how we want to change the game.
5. Cleansing Balm – This stuff is the teets. I mean it. Got dry skin? Nailed it. Got eczema? Try it. Got weird skin rashy things because you ate something you shouldn’t have? Get it. I’m telling you, it’s everything short of a miracle. Ok it might be a miracle. And it should be in every house everywhere in my opinion. It’s that good and that all purpose and it’s kind of like when the dad in My Big Fat Greek Wedding uses Windex for everything except way less toxic and smelly. I think you see where I’m going with this.

Thanks for the informative post! I really struggle with my mascara staying put throughout the day. I never apply it to my lower lashes, yet it always ends up running below my eyes. Does your mascara recommendation stay put well? Besides the mascara itself, do you have any ideas on helping it to stay on my lashes better?

Have you tried using mattifying/setting powder underneath your eyes? It may help with moisture.

I have not, but I will give it a try. Thank you for the suggestion!
