My Favorite Air Fryer

September 2, 2019 by predominantlypaleo 9 Comments

I hesitated getting another contraption for the kitchen, but after finding my favorite air fryer, I feel compelled to share my positive experience!!

My Favorite Air Fryer

It happened. I successfully ignored the hype of the air fryer madness and somehow survived not getting yet another kitchen appliance. I have sung the praises of my Instant Pots for ages, and honestly, they do wonders for busy moms/dads/adults/humans who just want to get dinner made and who don’t necessarily have a lot of time. Or energy for that matter!

So I took the plunge several months back, but of course before I began telling everyone about my experience, I needed to make sure it met and exceeded my expectations.

Each time I post an air fryer recipe, I inevitably get asked which air fryer I use, why, and if I have a blog post about it. I thought I’d use this opportunity to rave about the air fryer I bought about 6 months ago and tell you why I think this one is the best!

1. ALL THE COOKING COMPONENTS ARE STAINLESS. This is the biggest reason I started looking at this model. I do not love all the nonstick nasty chemicals used in most air fryers, a big reason why I said no to buying one for so long. I love the safety component here.

2. THIS AIR FRYER HAS MANY FUNCTIONS. And when I say many, I mean it can toast, bake, has a dehydration and convection feature, can air fry, and can do all these things well.

3. I ONLY LEAVE THIS ON MY COUNTER. Because it does have so many features, I tossed my toaster oven and now use this full time. I find myself using it for breakfast, lunch and dinners regularly with all of its features. So while it does take up some room, it has replaced my toaster oven and is comparable in size.

4. I DISHWASH ALL THE INSERTS. Yes, dishwash. It’s the best. I put the tray, rack, and air fryer basket in the dishwasher and all have held up great!

Ultimately, I love it. I have been using it daily and am so glad I waited until there was a safer air fryer on the market that also did other things. I’ve made burgers, wings, gnocchi, chicken breasts, french fries, tater tots, pizza, and even HARD BOILED EGGS. There’s no turning back.

SERIOUSLY.

    Hi Jennifer;

    Had you ever considered the air fryer attachment to the IP?

      I don’t think I knew about it when I bought my air fryer but I love mine so much I can’t imagine switching.

    […] I knew I wanted the sauce built into the meatballs, because a flavor packed meatball is what the world needs. What if we didn’t have to soak them in sauce because the sauce was already built inside? This is where I want to be….mid-bite of a saucy meatball. What happened next was even more awesome! The sauce caramelized and became the meatballs’ own inherent glaze. So not only are they delicious, they are gorgeous, shiny, glazed meatballs, made with little effort and all the reward. Oh and PS if you haven’t gotten in on the air fryer game, I urge you to get started. It has replaced my toaster oven and takes up the same space and we use it daily!!! Read my full review HERE.  […]

About

Jennifer is a wife and mother of 3 in pursuit of better health for her family.
After being gluten free for 4 years, and having a multitude of chronic health issues, she realized there was still too much processed “food” in her pantry and change was needed. Jennifer began feeding her family more meals from WHOLE foods and less from boxes. Her recipes are predominantly paleo, meaning they are free of grain, gluten, dairy, and refined sugar, but make allowances for a few treats and sweets. She believes food can be medicine when used appropriately and that a few changes now can equate to huge benefits later. Healthy food does not need to be flavorless and void of personality, which she aims to accomplish through her many recipes.
