PALEO EGG ROLL SOUP

December 15, 2015 by predominantlypaleo 56 Comments

PALEO EGG ROLL SOUP At long last, I’ve finally completed my manuscript for Paleo Kids Cookbook and am coming up for air! It’s been such an eventful Fall this year with my typical mom responsibilities, editing The New Yiddish Kitchen, and writing Paleo Kids. All fulfilling and rewarding and all overwhelming at times. So as…

PALEO BUFFALO CHICKEN SOUP

December 5, 2015 by predominantlypaleo 16 Comments

I must have like 1/3 of my blog posts that start with “I’m not pregnant but….” and then go on to explain my unexplained craving and why I had to write a new recipe there on the spot. It’s sort of ridiculous but once again…. I’m not pregnant but….. Last night I was craving buffalo…

10 Steps to Overcoming Chronic Illness

September 26, 2015 by predominantlypaleo 11 Comments

Y’all have inspired me to make this reference page for Down South Paleo so that you can see all the ingredients I use, where I get them from, and what brands I typically purchase.  I will also notate substitutions as I have received them from readers, even if I have not tried them myself. Please…

A Big Giant Texas Hug

August 12, 2015 by predominantlypaleo 14 Comments

This morning I had to set my alarm for 6.30am so I could register my middle daughter for gymnastics. Yes, that is the crazy place I live in where registration opens at 7am and by 7.05am, the slots are filled. So I sat in my dark quiet room, in my warm bed and with one eye…

Paleo INSTANT POT MEXI-MEATLOAF

July 20, 2015 by predominantlypaleo 73 Comments

Today I made this Paleo Instant Pot Mexi-Meatloaf and it was a really nice twist on regular meatloaf, which I also love. This recipe could easily be made into meatballs too, so if that suits your fancy, then get on it! Paleo Instant Pot Mexi-Meatloaf All this Instantpotting (that’s a thing right?) has got me…

Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs

July 17, 2015 by predominantlypaleo 82 Comments

I really shouldn’t even write an intro for this one – this is seriously barely a recipe. I mean it’s definitely worth posting because who doesn’t want an easier method for hard boiling eggs?! Right? But this is so crazy easy I should just stop. typing. now… Oh but I have to mention that since…

Instant Pot Paleo Recipes

July 17, 2015 by predominantlypaleo 24 Comments

If 2015 has one popular paleo small appliance, it’d have to be the Instant Pot! People are embracing whole foods but they want dinner fast – and we all know that the Instant Pot is basically like that machine on the Jetson’s where you type in what you want and it spits it out for…

About

Jennifer is a wife and mother of 3 in pursuit of better health for her family.
After being gluten free for 4 years, and having a multitude of chronic health issues, she realized there was still too much processed “food” in her pantry and change was needed. Jennifer began feeding her family more meals from WHOLE foods and less from boxes. Her recipes are predominantly paleo, meaning they are free of grain, gluten, dairy, and refined sugar, but make allowances for a few treats and sweets. She believes food can be medicine when used appropriately and that a few changes now can equate to huge benefits later. Healthy food does not need to be flavorless and void of personality, which she aims to accomplish through her many recipes.
